Last week Ava was the Flower Girl at our good friends wedding. She did such a great job and loved all the attention! It was such a beautiful wedding with a great view and the weather cooperated which was awesome!

Easter Weekend

We had a great Easter weekend! My mom and dad came over on Saturday and hung out for the day. Since Jeremy had to work my mom and I took Ava to Fred Meyer where she was able to decerate a cake and did the cake walk, she had a lot of fun and she was able to see her daddy! After Jeremy got off work we met up with him at The Onion, Jeremy is still talking about the burger he had. It was a really good place to eat, so if your in Spokane and are looking for somewhere to eat The Onion is a great place and is very child friendly.

On Sunday morning we were able to have some family time before we headed over to our good friends Shawn and Ashlees house where the kids had an Easter Egg Hunt. Ava was a pro, it's like she has been doing it her whole life. She went from one egg to the next and had so much fun doing it. After the hunt we had a wonderful Easter dinner. Thank you Shawn and Ashlee for having us over.

Yes it is snowing and it is the middle of April!!! It wasn't just a 5 min come down either it was all afternoon!

Park Adventure

Today was the first day that it wasn't raining or snowing, yes I said snowing. We woke up the other day to snow on the ground. I'm so tired of snow and I am ready for it to be warm and sunny. With the nice weather around we decided to take a walk to the park that is a couple of blocks from us. Ava loved it, we went a couple of times last summer but she was still too small to really enjoy it, but she enjoyed it today!

We only stayed for a little bit because as you can see the park is covered by trees and the toys were in the shade, but we still had a good time.

Ava's first hair cut

We finally had Ava's hair cut for the first time since she was born. It was time because she was starting to get a mullet! Our friend Hannah came up to Spokane to cute hair at a friends house so I took Ava. She was a little unsure about what was going on but she did a great job, she sat nice and still while Hannah cut her hair.

Slumber Party

Jeremy had a 'slumber party' last night with Ava, they watched the movie "Up" and slept in the living room. I was actually suprised that Ava fell asleep in the living room, that never happens unless she is sick. It was really nice for me because I was able to sleep in:) When I came out the next morning I was surprised to find that my living room had been transformed into a big pillow fort.






They sure had a lot of fun!
