Ouch!

We have had a crazy couple of days! On Friday Jeremy and I were able to get over to the new place and clean and start taping, so we can start painting the inside. Thanks to Sara we were able to get a lot done while she watched Ava for us. I must admit I was a little nervous about leaving Ava for the first time but I knew she was in good hands. Not only was I nervous about leaving Ava but I was nervous about how Ava would do being away from me for the first time but no worries she had a great time and Sara was even able to take her to lunch. Thank you so much Sara!!!

On Saturday we were able to get back over to the house but first we had to make out stops at Fred Meyer and Home Depot to pick up more supplies and samples of paint (I still havn't decided on a color yet). We were able to get most of the taping finished and the kitchen is cleaned. And where was Ava you might ask, well she was taking a nap in the other room, she is such a good girl for us.

This morning was very relaxing we didn't do much but lay around and play with Ava, it's been a long time since we were able to do that! While were were hanging out playing, we were able to catch Ava on the camera walking back and forth between Jeremy and I.




Once Ava woke up from her nap I was able to get down stairs and start packing up the rooms while Ava hung out with her daddy. I was actually able to get alot accomplished, it's amazing what you can get done when you don't have a little one at your feet the whole time. I was abe to get the spare room all boxed up and ready to go, Yea! 5 hrs later when I was all done with the down stairs I was in the kitchen making a bottle for Ava so we could have some much needed cuddling, well that didn't go as planned! Ava was trying to pull herself up and fell and hit her head! Instantly I knew it was going to be a bad one.

We were able to get alot accomplished this weekend and lets hope we can get alot more accomplished these next couple of dayd while my mom is here to watch Ava for us :).

Busy weekend!

We had a busy weekend, Jeremy's parents came down to help us paint the outside of the new house. Justin, Jody and Kendry also came over to help us out. The weather was beautiful all weekend, it was perfect painting weather. While the boys were doing the painting us girls relaxed in the park across the street. On Sunday we went back early in the morning and finsihed up painting the trim. We have a couple of touch-ups to do but it is done for now. Enjoy the pictures.

The house color isn't as dark as I had planned but I do like the final product. Thanks to everyone who helped us!

Dancing machine

I was finally able to catch Ava dancing and at the end of the video you can hear her sing. It's a little dark and sideways...remember I'm just learning I will do better next time.

---Little Driver---

Yesterday we went and looked at a couple of houses and found one that we really liked! It is on the Northside of Spokane, it has over 2,000 sq ft., a two car garage, hardwood floors, and a finished basement. Jeremy and I fell in love with the house and put an offer on it. We should hear back sometime today, we are keeping our fingers crossed, I will keep you posted on how that goes.

It has been beautiful here the last couple of days and we were able to go outside and play. Ava loved it, she was a little hesitant on the grass but after awhile she was crawling around everywhere.

And there she goes...I think we will be spending alot of time in the yard...hopefully it will be our own yard:)

Jeremy's brother Anthony came down and visited us for a couple of days and Ava had so much fun playing with him. She loves her uncle Anthony!!!

Outside fun

We went driving around the North side of Spokane and fell in love with the area. We found this cute little park and got out and played. Ava loved it, she really enjoyed the swing. She went down a couple of slides with daddy and really enjoyed that as well. It will be a great park to go to when she starts walking it had a toddler section that will be just perfect for her to play on. Since it wasn't a planned stop we didn't take our camera so I don't have any pictures to post, but the next time we go I will difinetly have the camera!

Eggs and Blocks

Ava had her first taste of egg, Jeremy scrambled up some eggs and Ava loved it. She was able to feed herself which she loved. I think this will be her new breakfast most mornings.





We bought Ava some wood blocks today, She enjoyed playing with them for a couple of minutes but I think daddy had more fun playing with them than Ava. I think daddy has a new favorite toy!





Ava had a fun time knocking down what Jeremy had built, oh no look out here she comes!
