Splashin' around

On Sunday morning we headed over to Yakima to switch nieces, Andrea stayed with us for a week first and now it's Allyson's turn. On the way back from Yakima we decided to stop in Quincy for the night because we were to tired to head all the way back to Spokane. In the morning we got up and by 10 a.m. it was already 90 degrees outside, so we got in my parents new pool, oh it was so nice. It was Ava's first time in a big pool, she didn't like it at first I think it was too cold for her but she got the hang of it and had fun. Enjoy the pictures and video!

We can't wait to go back and play in the pool. It's also nice to get a tan :)

Weekend fun :)

We had some company this weekend, Jeremy's mom and nieces came over to visit. On friday we went to lunch at Azteca, YUM! Then came home and let the girls play in Avas little pool, it was 100 degrees out so it was very refreshing. Our AC wasn't working like it was supposed to so it was cooler outside then it was inside, but the AC has been fixed and we are staying nice and cool.

Ava had such a fun time splashing in the water.

Ava playing with her cousin Ally!

All done!!

On Saturday we went to Chuck E Cheese for Allysons birthday. It was a lot of fun, Ava loved running around and seeing all the kids and the girls and Jeremy had a lot of fun playing the games. That evening we had a bbq at our place. Jeremy's sister came over and joined us as well as her boyfriend and his son. After dinner the kids went across the street and played soccor and ran some energy off. It is so nice having the big open grass area across the street to play in.

It is so much more fun eating outside!

Ava had hotdogs and pickles for the first time, she loved them!

Ava's favorite thing to do outside is walk up and down the side walk, she doesn't like the grass so much.

Eating a popcicle for the first time, I think it was a little too cold for her.

On Sunday we watched Alice and Wonderlad with the girls and then we had to say our goodbyes. It was a nice relaxing weekend.

Shirts off!

Ava has had a difficult week, she is getting her 2nd molar on top and it has been giving her lots of trouble. Although I know she is in pain I kinda like it because she has been really cuddly:) I put her down for her afternoon nap, but Ava had different plans. After a half hour of hearing her playing I went in there and this is what I found:

Thats right she was able to take her shirt off!

She was very proud of herself

4th of July

We had a great day on the 4th! While waiting for Jeremy to get off work Ava and I went to Target and did some shopping and played at home. When Jeremy got off work we met up with some friends at River Front Park. The weather was perfect not too hot and not too cold. First we had dinner at Red Robin, YUM, and then we just walked around looking at the different vendors and booths. While walking around we were also scoping out where we wanted to sit and watch the fireworks. After walking around for awhile we found a spot, not sure if it was going to be a good spot, but we decided to try it out. After 2 hours of sitting there we began thinking we were in the wrong spot because no one else was sitting there. In the end it was a great spot and we saw the fireworks perfectly! Ava had a lot of fun, she is such a people watcher that she was very entertained with all the people around. She also had her best friend Skyler there to keep her company as well.

Ava really enjoyed the fireworks but only stayed awake to watch half of them, she was a tired little girl!

What a great 4th of July!
