Last week Ava was the Flower Girl at our good friends wedding. She did such a great job and loved all the attention! It was such a beautiful wedding with a great view and the weather cooperated which was awesome!

Easter Weekend

We had a great Easter weekend! My mom and dad came over on Saturday and hung out for the day. Since Jeremy had to work my mom and I took Ava to Fred Meyer where she was able to decerate a cake and did the cake walk, she had a lot of fun and she was able to see her daddy! After Jeremy got off work we met up with him at The Onion, Jeremy is still talking about the burger he had. It was a really good place to eat, so if your in Spokane and are looking for somewhere to eat The Onion is a great place and is very child friendly.

On Sunday morning we were able to have some family time before we headed over to our good friends Shawn and Ashlees house where the kids had an Easter Egg Hunt. Ava was a pro, it's like she has been doing it her whole life. She went from one egg to the next and had so much fun doing it. After the hunt we had a wonderful Easter dinner. Thank you Shawn and Ashlee for having us over.

Yes it is snowing and it is the middle of April!!! It wasn't just a 5 min come down either it was all afternoon!

Park Adventure

Today was the first day that it wasn't raining or snowing, yes I said snowing. We woke up the other day to snow on the ground. I'm so tired of snow and I am ready for it to be warm and sunny. With the nice weather around we decided to take a walk to the park that is a couple of blocks from us. Ava loved it, we went a couple of times last summer but she was still too small to really enjoy it, but she enjoyed it today!

We only stayed for a little bit because as you can see the park is covered by trees and the toys were in the shade, but we still had a good time.

Yup, it's that time of year, we are all sick in the house :( Here is a picture of my two sickies watching tv.

Ava's first hair cut

We finally had Ava's hair cut for the first time since she was born. It was time because she was starting to get a mullet! Our friend Hannah came up to Spokane to cute hair at a friends house so I took Ava. She was a little unsure about what was going on but she did a great job, she sat nice and still while Hannah cut her hair.

Slumber Party

Jeremy had a 'slumber party' last night with Ava, they watched the movie "Up" and slept in the living room. I was actually suprised that Ava fell asleep in the living room, that never happens unless she is sick. It was really nice for me because I was able to sleep in:) When I came out the next morning I was surprised to find that my living room had been transformed into a big pillow fort.






They sure had a lot of fun!

Roller Skating/ Pizza Party

Jeremy's work had a Roller Skating party, They had the whole place closed down and was only open to employee's. They had pizza and pop for everyone to enjoy. Right when we got there Jeremy went and got his roller skates, it took him awhile to get the hang of it but he did and it wasn't long before he had Ava on skates.

Ava had so much fun running around and skating. It only took twice around and she was worn out! It was fun and definitely something we will be doing again!

Christmas

We hope everyone had a great Christmas, because we sure did! Jeremy was able to get Christmas Eve off so we were able to head over to Quincy Christmas Eve morning to hang out with the family. On Christmas Eve was able to open one present which was her Christmas PJ's (I think this is going to be a new tradition). I think I was more excited about opening presents than she was. After the kids were down for bed us adults played a game and had fun just hanging out with eachother, we just don't get to do that enough.

After a long night, because Ava decided that she didn't want to sleep, we got up in the morning and Ava got her stocking.








Once everyone was awake all the kids got to open thier presents. Ava wasn't really into opening the presents but she did love to play with what was inside :).






After opening presents and the car all packed we rushed over to Yakima to have Christmas day with Jeremy's parents. We had a great dinner and Ava was able to open her presents from her Grandma and Grandpa and her Uncle Anthony and Auntie Cynthia.







After hanging out in Yakima for several hours we loaded the car back up including two extra passengers. Our nieces came back with us for a week. It was a very long 3hours back home but we made it.

What a wonderful time with family, we love you all!!!

Potty Training

We are starting to potty train Ava and she is loving it! I think she might really love the reward more though, her reward for going to the bathroom is M&Ms.



She will hate me when she gets older for this :)
